BAROQUE BLUE SE-Art Residency is a bridge between east and west, north and south, form and content, ethics and aesthetics, past and future. It is a point of reference for international artists who wish to work in a stimulating environment to deepen their artistic practice in dialogue with the territory and Italian artists. During the residency, artists not only live together but share a collective vision that embraces art, culture, music, history, research, sustainability, and spiritual development. Dores Sacquegna

ART DIRECTOR

The founder and Art Director of Baroque Blue is Dores Sacquegna. She lived in Rome, travelled and worked in various parts of the world, and in 2022 she returned to Salento to create Baroque Blue, an eco-experiential project exploring the dialogue between myth, territory, ecology, and contemporary art. In addition to her curatorial work, she teaches traditional and experimental printmaking techniques.

She lived in Rome, travelled and worked in various parts of the world, and in 2022 she returned to Salento to create Baroque Blue, an eco-experiential project exploring the dialogue between myth, territory, ecology, and contemporary art.
